4th Anniversary Message from Founder

On this day, Team NEPO celebrates its 4th year as a charity; the 6th May (23rd Baisakh) marked the anniversary of our formal registration and in October it will be a decade since we started our journey from a school sports team. As part of our 4th anniversary celebration, we feel pleasure in taking few moments to look back at what has changed (and what hasn’t) throughout our journey, and elsewhere, how we became able to create some impact over the last 10 years. Over the course of 10 years, TN worked with a large network of young and energetic people throughout the nation, create a platform for every young people to develop themselves, assembled an exceptional team and refined its vision for youth leadership, health, environment and moral education sharing the envision as ‘Young class’s creative efficiency development to build a society with good health, peace and harmony’.

Everything we do comes out of our values: Care for Nature, People, Service, Personal and Professional Development, Enjoy Participation, Understand Community and Culture, Passion, Long-term Thinking, and Learning. These are the ingredients that drive our culture. Only by living our values can we bring a difference in communities. Our journey has been possible only because of the believe our members place in our team spirit, and it has been our pleasure to support each other and grow together with more than 250 members and volunteers.

The organization has experienced a difficult yet wonderful journey since its establishment. We are confident, however, as most member states that the Organization can and will continue contributing the nation with empowered youths enrolled in making a positive difference to build a peaceful, stable and prosperous society.

Personally, I’m blessed to experience all the working days to complete a decade’ journey starting from my seventh grade (2066). We walked through a long way and still have so much to do. I can truly sense how much has this journey taught me about life, community, people and nation and this seriously provide a motivation to keep working selflessly. It would be much difficult for us completing all the successful years without the tireless effort of few people. I can never forget the name of those people who continuously supported and encouraged us to go ahead from the day of our initiation, my social teacher Suren Shakya, and my Principal Tika Ram Nyoupane. My dad Ganesh Raj Paudel and Mum Nirmala Paudel who are always positive to my engagement with TN, supports me and lets me follow my passion.

Our advisors who show us the path, support us; on and off the stage, motivate us to keep working for social services, very positive and inspiring personalities each of them have become to entire organization and each of our lives; Dr. Rabindra Sameer, Dr. Chiranjibi Bhattarai, Ugan Manandhar and Shaurab Lohani. Can’t stay without mentioning my guru Amoda Acharya and I’m indebted to have the guidance from Kuldeep Poudel sir. I feel pleasure to have so many supportive hands throughout our journey and it may not be possible to mention each of them. Still, I have to mention Nabin Dai, Amit dai, Khagendra Dai, Aabishkar dai, Prashant Dai, Arjun Dai, Pradeep Dai, Pujan Di, you all were always there when we needed the most.

My mates who contributed to team selflessly during its establishment, Raj Sagar, Krishna Khanal, Keran Magar, Ganesh Panth, Amit Poudyal, Sandip Shrestha, Gaurav Kumar Thakur, Sandeep Kandel, Gaurav Sapkota, Kiran Paudel, दिवाकर भुसाल, Saroj Panthi , Subash Acharya, Om Prakash Bhandari, Sagar Kc, Sarjit Pandey, Himanshu Pokhrel, Aman Joshi, Mahesh Gyawali, Asim Bhandari, Shubham Shrestha and Asim Shrestha. I apologize if i have unknowingly missed important names.

So, on this beautiful occasion, I salute to all those who contributed our team which made this journey to come till today, and wish to remember and thank all of those supporting hands from the inner core of my heart. And our journey is just beginning because we have so much to do in the coming years. Your love, support and trust is only thing that always encourage us to continue our good works. Congratulations our team members, interns and volunteers throughout the nation. Lots of love.
